General Purpose
The Warehouse Operations Manager has executional accountabilities for all operations related to the warehousing and distribution of raw materials and finished goods and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities. The individual in this role has responsibility for the effective achievement of all manufacturing material planning and handling, production warehouse, distribution warehouse, and inventory control objectives for the location. The warehouse operations manager role also has developmental aspects focused on preparation of the individual for total plant or region warehouse responsibilities. This developmental expectation is that the incumbent will be ready and eligible for a Level II Plant Manager or Warehouse Regional Director role within two years. Upon eligibility, relocation to another facility within the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages may be required. This role oversees automated material handling systems, robotics, warehouse control systems (WCS), and warehouse management systems (WMS) ensuring maximum throughput, inventory accuracy, equipment reliability, and customer service performance. The manager leads operations teams, maintenance coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
The incumbent will report to the Plant Manager and will have the Warehouse Manager III and Inventory Manager III as direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee operation of the following areas:
Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
Conveyor systems and sortation equipment
Robotic palletizers and depalletizers
Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Facilitate, manage, and lead the day-to-day operation of the production warehouse, shipping and receiving, facility recycle and recoup, and DSD Warehouse and semi-automated picking operation to achieve warehouse and plant logistics goals.
Assist the Plant Manager as directed in providing overall plan operational oversight.
Develop and execute business plans supporting semi-automated pick warehousing, manufacturing warehousing, and Shipping & Receiving logistics objectives including the development and implementation of strategies, processes and programs. Maximize productive capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining operating cost and goals.
Develops initiatives to achieve production warehousing, DSD warehousing, safety, and sustainability standard goals.
Manage overall production warehouse operations for the shipping and receiving of full goods and raw materials, and the distribution warehouse operations for the building of route orders through the semi-automated picking system as well the corresponding maintenance required to upkeep and maintain critical reliability of the system. Develop initiatives to achieve quality, safety, product availability, efficiency, quality, and financial Key Business Indicators.
Improve process and operational consistency to manage and reduce costs associated with labor and OPEX budget.
Motivate, direct, coach and develop a high performing diverse and engaged team to meet established goals and build organizational capability. Staff, train and develop team members to reach this level.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or other technical discipline, with 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing leadership roles; or 5 plus years of experience in a department leadership role, preferably in leadership roles across different supply chain functions with an emphasis in warehouse, logistics, and inventory.
8-10 years experience leading a warehouse strongly preferred
Experience in leading in a high performance or self-directed team environment preferred.
Experience developing and managing operational budgets.
Experience developing and implementing business plans to drive performance in Key Business Indicators.
Food, beverage and automated warehouse experience. Proficient in use of packaged computer software / industry standard software systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office applications.
Working knowledge of financial reporting with P&L focus.
Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S and Six Sigma strongly preferred.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, and 22000 standards.
