Overview

The SVP, Group Client Director is the Business Lead responsible for earning and maintaining a trusted client partnership for the management of a profitable account. This role maintains a team of successful media practitioners that deliver client and agency goals (content channels include but are not limited to: television, magazines, search, digital, mobile, OOH, in-office, social, DR). You will also manage the holistic Spark Foundry team in delivering media excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build senior client relationship, regularly conduct in person and remote client status sessions, relationship management and development opportunities, vision setting discussions, and collaboration with Field teams
    • Client travel to X on average 2-3 days per week
    • Core client stakeholders with regular contact include:
  • Set Strategic & Tactical vision across agency and client teams
    • Lead strategic approach for integrated marketing across all channels
    • Evaluate current health of client business via analysis of relevant business metrics while also seeking innovative solutions to deliver on clients' goals.
    • Review, critique, and help propose revisions to all client facing recommendation Strategy & Tactics communications
    • Drive Content strategy & execution including use of paid media added value, influencers, social channels, etc.
  • Proactively develop collaborative relationships with other client partners:
    • Creative, PR, Retail agencies, etc.
    • Build partnerships with key media partners/suppliers
  • Manage team growth by monitoring performance and guiding career development
    • Ensure team deliverables are aligned with media strategy and are well versed in knowledge of the client's business
    • Manage performance reviews, coaching to maximize success, and goal setting for career development and advocate for team members

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and proven performance/knowledge across media
  • Strong leadership skills and experience fostering a highly productive team with smart management, goal setting, and prioritization
  • Strong client facing and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to relate to corporate marketing team as well as large division teams
  • Experience with high volume performance account a plus
  • Familiar with marketing science principles and problem solving / analytics used to influence a data-driven, quantitative approach in driving strategy
  • Exemplify collaboration by building and maintaining productive relationships across internal teams and agency partners

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
