As a Senior Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, and preparation of contract documents for the construction of stormwater and utility infrastructure.
Responsibilities:- Manage utility aspects of projects, oversee design and production of plans and specifications, and ensure that the work is produced on schedule profitably.
- Collaborate with project teams to analyze utility relocation conflicts on infrastructure projects.
- Review and provide feedback on Utility Owner design submittals.
- Coordinate utility design efforts with consultants and stakeholders.
- Perform constructability reviews to ensure compatibility with construction methods.
- Analyze projects and direct ASCE SUE investigations.
- Compile and compute a variety of engineering data.
- Prepare plans, and details and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
- Support and participate in the development and mentorship of staff.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- PE License in New Jersey and/or New York required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering design.
- Skilled with CAD/Design Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3d, Inroads/Openroads).
- MS Office proficiency.
- Experienced with ASCE standard governance of subsurface utility engineering.
- Experience with different construction techniques and constructability of utilities and associated civil aspects in design-build projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Ability to travel to job sites.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Ability to independently manage small to medium size projects.

SALARY RANGE: $105,000 - $120,000
