As an experienced Transportation Engineer with Houston Engineering, Inc, you will manage a variety of transportation projects from design through construction. Job Description- Grow and expand transportation services and clients in the state.
- Effectively lead and manage activities and people on specific projects.
- Assure that designs are in accordance with federal, city and DOT specifications.
- Prepare or oversee detailed engineering analyses, schedules, technical reports, etc.
- Interface with CAD designers, other engineers and subcontractors.
- Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the customer.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer license in the applicable state you work or the ability to obtain license within 6 months.
- 8+ years of experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects preferred.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of project team roles and responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
