Job Title: Training Specialist Overview PAE Mission Systems is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Training Analyst with a strong Navy curriculum development background to support mission-critical training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NAVEDTRA processes, CPM/LOM, FEA, NTSP development, and lifecycle curriculum updates for Navy training systems.
This role directly supports PAE Mission Systems programs by developing high-quality instructional materials that ensure fleet readiness and compliance with Navy training standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, revise, and maintain Navy training curricula in accordance with NAVEDTRA 130, 131, 136, 138, and applicable manuals.
- Utilize the Content Planning Module (CPM) and Learning Object Module (LOM) to design, update, and manage learning objectives and course structures.
- Conduct Front End Analysis (FEA) to identify training gaps, requirements, and optimal learning solutions.
- Develop and update Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs), ensuring system-level training requirements are clearly documented.
- Coordinate with PAE Mission Systems program managers, engineers, and logistics personnel to ensure training accurately reflects system updates and operational needs.
- Produce compliant Lesson Plans, Trainee Guides, assessments, instructor materials, and supporting courseware.
- Ensure training materials meet PAE quality standards and Navy ISD methodology requirements.
- Participate in program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and curriculum approval processes.
- Provide ongoing support to instructors, learning centers, and fleet stakeholders during curriculum implementation.
Required Qualifications- Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
- 5-7 years of experience in Navy curriculum development or Instructional Systems Design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CPM and LOM.
- Strong working knowledge of NAVEDTRA instructions and the Navy ISD process.
- Experience conducting FEA and developing NTSPs.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience supporting PAE, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, or NETC training programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with fleet training pipelines, acquisition programs, or system modernization efforts
