Full Job Description
We are seeking to fill a new role of Senior Technologist for our Municipal group, working out of our Guelph office location.

The successful applicant will be engaged in the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, bridges and culverts, water mains, roads and parking lots. Work will include collection of field data; technical analysis; completion of preliminary and final design including the preparation of AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, specifications/contract documents and cost estimates; applications for approvals and coordination with external agencies. This role may also support with contract administration and construction inspection, and guide junior staff members.

Key Position Requirements
  • Graduate of Engineering Technology program (3 years)
  • Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment
  • OACETT membership with C.E.T. designation
  • Demonstrated high level of commitment
  • Strong, relevant design experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Undertake some business development with a desire to do more
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Expected Hiring Range for This Position

$75,000 to $125,000
