Overall Purpose of the JobThis role is intended to support growth in Well integrity and Remediation Applications through customer engagement, problem diagnosis, and solution development. The ideal candidate will have experience in Well Intervention, Well Integrity, Completions, Production/Workover engineering, or technical applications and be capable of understanding customer challenges, evaluating remediation options, and recommending technically and commercially viable solutions.
Key Activities and Accountabilities- Responsible as first line specialist and technical liaison with clients and Expro's operations and product line teams. This position works as an individual contributor and will not have direct reports.
- Identify opportunities for marketing the technology and seeking new business then develop appropriate strategies for delivering them in conjunction with the operations and product line teams.
- Build trusted technical relationships with customers and support business development activities.
- Assess the Customers Well Integrity and Intervention challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Promote both diagnostic and remediation technologies, ensuring the most effective solution is identified.
- Develop technical proposals, application assessments, and deployment recommendations.
- Support critical operations, capture lessons learned and identify follow-on opportunities.
- Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all information is circulated as appropriate ensuring client questions and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns.
- Actively adhere to company policies, including but not limited to: the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained as well as compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems.
- Ensure employee development plan (EDP) objectives are met.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications• 8+ years of experience in well intervention, well integrity, completions, production/workover engineering, technical applications, or related downhole technologies.
• Expandable technology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of, Well Architecture, Intervention methods, and Well Integrity challenges.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions and articulate customer value.
• Ability to travel by road or plane required within the U.S.
• Skilled in navigating within MS Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint).
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment screenings (ie background/prior employment verification drug/alcohol test).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS• Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and smell.
• Requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and exertion of force up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to see objects close, afar, and use peripheral vision is required.
• Ability to hear and take verbal direction for the execution of job duties.
• Requires mobility indoors to outdoors, subject to cold, warm, wet or humid conditions resulting from weather or other various conditions.
