Senior Technical Project Manager
Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to drive the successful execution and delivery of our global GPU data center deployment projects. The ideal candidate is a disciplined project leader with 6+ years of PM experience and a deep understanding of the data center lifecycle, specifically in coordinating the physical implementation of high-density compute environments. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require advanced-level cross-functional coordination, a proven track record of managing 3+ years of data center infrastructure deployments, and the ability to facilitate complex technical designs into operational reality. Key Responsibilities
• Project Execution: Lead the planning and execution of specific project workstreams within the broader GPU data center deployment program.
• Technical Integration: Coordinate with engineering and facilities teams to facilitate the design, site-specific implementation, and optimization of data center environments.
• Operational Delivery: Manage the deployment lifecycle of high-density GPU clusters, including oversight of specialized infrastructure such as liquid cooling systems and networking interconnects.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive alignment between Networking, Facilities, Compute Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless project handoffs and risk mitigation.
• Schedule & Risk Management: Develop detailed project schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain deployment timelines.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, preferably within a large-scale enterprise or infrastructure environment.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in Data Center deployments or physical infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex project schedules and coordinate multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
• Strong understanding of the data center lifecycle, including power, cooling, and rack-level integration.
Compensation
$110,000 - $140,000
Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
