  • Technical Oversight: Possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to this domain, including:
  • Metal Fabrication: Laser cutting, turret punching, CNC bending, welding, and finishing (powder coat, plating).
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify technical, schedule, and budget risks within the program, developing and executing mitigation plans in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Strategic Planning & Financial Management
  • Budget & Schedule: Develop, track, and manage comprehensive program schedules (WBS) and multi-million-dollar budgets to ensure on-time delivery and financial targets are met.
  • Resource Allocation: Optimize resource deployment across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to meet program milestones effectively.
  • Reporting: Provide executive-level program status reports, highlighting key risks, financial performance, and critical path items to the Senior Vice President and other executive stakeholders.

Systems & Process Excellence (Oracle & Kinaxis)

  • Process Improvement: Champion the use of data-driven methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to continuously improve program execution, quality metrics, and operational efficiency within the fabrication and assembly lines.

Global Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary interface between Design Engineering, Global Sourcing/Supply Chain, Manufacturing Sites (domestic and international), and the Customer/Business Development teams.
  • Supplier Engagement: Partner with strategic metal fabrication and component suppliers to ensure technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules are strictly adhered to.
