JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Wichita

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead Engineering and cross-functional teams through the development process for complex multi-NRE (m-NRE) projects for select customers. This includes, collaboration, planning, and driving these projects through the full development cycle while ensuring compliance to the customer's unique requirements and consistency with Integra's operational production flows. Ensure that complex m-NRE development projects converge to meet Integra committed customer schedules. Lead various internal Engineering initiatives to improve Integra's overall development capabilities, effectiveness, and efficiencies in supporting Integra's business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Lead multi-NRE and multi-Engineer teams in the delivery of complex test hardware, software and environmental solutions to meet Integra's Customer requirements.
  • From "Quoting-to-Final-Production", plan, organize, prioritize, budget, track and coordinate the activities of cross-functional program teams of Engineering, Sales, Ops, CS, CM, & PC to deliver scheduled "production ready" solutions with optimized flow-routing and adequate operations capacity for success.
  • Lead and manage internal Engineering initiatives/projects to improve Integra's capabilities and drive lower cost Test and ENV solutions.
  • Assign "Sales Quote Requests" to Integra Engineers and oversee quote delivery response times.
  • For complex quotes requiring both Test and ENV for a large number of part types, proactively engage in coordinating Engineering and Sales to deliver a timely comprehensive quote to the customer.
  • Monitor schedules, cost and resources to achieve program deliverables that meet Integra's quality and business requirements.
  • Identify, escalate, and ensure resolution of issues impacting successful execution of programs to plan.
  • Consult with engineers, technicians, production personnel and others regarding test results and resolution of problems as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication within and across Integra's various functional groups through appropriate status meetings and program reporting.
  • Continually keep Senior Management informed of key program status and associated issues.
  • Identify project/program key dependencies and risks with appropriate mitigation planning.
  • Manage and/or oversee associated purchase orders and build plans.
  • Work with supply chain to manage program costs.
  • Support, manage, and influence continuous improvement of NRE development processes, practices, initiatives, and cost reduction while staying aligned with Integra's overall operations and business.
  • Assist in the evaluation new test capabilities required for unique customer opportunities.
  • Oversee IT project development for Engineering and associated metrics.
  • Support and/or provide "Program Management Training" for Customer Service Specialists.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.

Experience: 7 - 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry preferred; with 5 years of Technical Program Management in an engineering development environment. Additional experience required as follows:

  • Deep understanding of Engineering development process and activities.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements for component test and qualifications.
  • Strong team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross functional groups, and vendors to achieve plans.
  • Ability to develop excellent cross-functional teamwork through encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
