Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the development and deployment of Avionics Test Systems that enable the test, validation, and scaled production of Leo satellite sub-systems. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence how quickly and reliably we deploy satellites to orbit.

As a Senior TPM for Avionics Test Systems, you will own the end-to-end technical program strategy for the test equipment, automation, and infrastructure required to verify Avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) across their lifecycle-from engineering development through production-rate testing.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across test engineering, electrical design, embedded software, manufacturing, and external vendors to develop and deploy test systems that meet the demanding requirements of space-grade hardware validation.

This role sits at the intersection of test engineering, hardware-software integration, vendor management, and production scale-up. Success requires deep technical judgment in test system architecture, strong program leadership across internal and external development teams, and the ability to drive alignment between product development timelines and test readiness milestones.

Key job responsibilities

Help Build the Infrastructure That Connects the World:

The programs you lead will become core components of Amazon's satellite network, enabling reliable broadband connectivity for communities around the globe. Your work will help bring high-speed internet access to millions of people who currently lack it, expanding access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.

Lead Avionics Test System Development End-to-End:

Own the technical program strategy for test systems that validate avionics LRUs-from requirements definition and architecture through design, integration, commissioning, and production deployment. Define verification and validation strategies that demonstrate sub-system performance and flight readiness at scale.

Drive Test System Readiness Across Internal and Vendor Teams:

Serve as the central program leader coordinating test system development across internal test engineering teams and external vendors. Ensure test stations are designed, built, qualified, and delivered on schedule to support production milestones and new product introduction timelines.

Own Test Architecture Decisions and Trade Studies:

Drive trade studies with engineering that balance test coverage, throughput, cost, and maintainability. Define test system requirements that align with LRU design evolution across program workstreams while managing interfaces between test systems and flight hardware.

Scale Test Infrastructure for High-Rate Production:

Transition test systems from engineering development environments into production-rate capable stations supporting one of the largest satellite constellations ever built. Drive test automation, reliability improvements, and capacity planning to meet factory throughput targets.

A day in the life

Mission Impact: Your work will help bring reliable broadband connectivity to communities around the world, expanding access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.

Technical Challenge: Help develop test systems for one of the largest satellite constellations ever built, solving unprecedented challenges in scale, cost, and reliability.

Team: Work alongside engineers from leading aerospace and technology organizations, building a new generation of space infrastructure.

Growth: You'll have direct visibility with senior leadership and opportunities to expand your impact across Leo's satellite development programs.
