Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:

Aviatrix is looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join our Product Management organization. Working alongside our peers at AWS, Azure, and GCP, you will build the technical collateral that enables the people who sell and deploy our technology - solutions engineers, field engineering, partners, and customers. This is the dedicated function that turns a newly shipped capability into something the field can demo, teach, and get certified on. This role is expected to influence what gets built next.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build the demo and lab content in our shared demo environment - a self-service scenario, a runbook, and a recorded demo for each significant new feature - so any solutions engineer can demo a new capability without an expert in the room. Works with Sales Enablement and the demo team, who operate the environment.
  • Assemble the technical readiness bundle for each release, working backward from engineering's pre-release milestones so demos, runbooks, labs, and certification content exist before a feature is broadly sold.
  • Serve as the technical consultant to our training and certification partner and Sales Enablement, who own the security curriculum end to end - contributing subject-matter expertise, lab exercises, and technical review across cloud network architecture, egress control, intrusion detection and prevention, zero trust, and Kubernetes security.
  • Produce deep technical comparisons for technical sellers, complementing Product Marketing's higher-level battlecards.
  • Work with pre-release builds and Engineering to build and validate demo material before general availability, alongside the demo team and early-access customers.
  • Carry the field's technical perspective back to Product Management and Engineering, informing the readiness bundle, the curriculum, and the roadmap.
  • Use AI tools to prototype candidate capabilities and use cases - working proofs of concept built fast enough to test an idea before engineering resources are committed.
  • Evaluate and stress-test early, unreleased, and speculative concepts hands-on, including competitor capabilities, and turn findings into evidence-backed recommendations.
  • Use AI-assisted scripting and automation to keep demo environments, labs, and technical validation repeatable as the product moves.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of technical marketing experience documenting validated designs, reference architectures, case studies, blogs, and demos.
  • Comfortable presenting at webinars, roadshows, and conferences
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP (multi-cloud a plus).
  • Solid networking fundamentals: routing, VPNs and transit architectures, load balancing, WAN/data center networking.
  • Network security experience: firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation and zero trust, and cloud-native security concepts.
  • Flexibility to travel and support Pre-Sales on advanced pursuits.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to build, prototype, and automate; scripting and automation experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Aviatrix ACE Professional and CSP Architect-level certification, or willingness to obtain.
