Opportunity OverviewThe Technology Architecture team, within Enterprise Architecture, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to support the firm's strategic infrastructure resiliency objectives. The Technology Architecture team provides strategic direction and governance for the firm's foundational technology capabilities, including infrastructure, cloud, platforms, data technologies, and cross-domain architecture patterns. As architecture stewards, we align technology investments, standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps to support the firm's strategic goals while balancing agility, resiliency, security, risk management, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.
As our technology and operational resilience capabilities evolve, we are seeking an experienced architect to help strengthen the resiliency discipline within Technology Architecture. This role will serve as a strategic partner across Enterprise Architecture, Digital Resiliency, Business Resiliency, Data Platform, Platform Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Solution Architecture teams to ensure resiliency principles are consistent in technology strategies, standards, architectures, and investment decisions.
Resiliency is a critical architectural quality attribute. In this role, you will help shape the firm's resilient architecture strategy by defining architecture principles, patterns, recovery approaches, and target-state roadmaps that improve the firm's ability to anticipate, withstand, recover from, and adapt to operational disruptions, cyber incidents, technology failures, and evolving business and regulatory expectations through architectural alignment required to support resilient critical business services across the firm.
What You'll Do:- Define and evolve resiliency architecture strategies and patterns spanning infrastructure, platform, cloud, application, and data disciplines.
- Partner with Digital Resiliency and Business Resiliency teams to translate resiliency objectives, recovery requirements, and business continuity strategies into actionable architectural direction and technology roadmaps.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to architecture, platform engineering, and technology leadership teams on resiliency-related architectural decisions, technology investments, and modernization initiatives.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, patterns, and reference architectures that improve operational resilience, recoverability, availability, and cyber resilience.
- Drive alignment across Technology Architecture, Digital Resiliency, Business Resiliency, Data Platform, Cybersecurity, and Solution Architecture teams to ensure resiliency considerations considered throughout technology strategy and solution design.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry frameworks, and resiliency practices to strengthen the firm's ability to prevent, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions.
- Lead strategic assessments of technology capabilities, identifying resiliency gaps, dependencies, concentration risks, and opportunities for architectural improvement.
- Influence technology investment decisions by balancing resiliency objectives, operational considerations, technology risk, complexity, and business value.

Position RequirementsWhat Experience You Will Need:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud architecture, platform architecture, or related technology leadership roles.
- Experience developing technology strategies and target-state architectures within large, complex organizations.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms, infrastructure services, platform engineering practices, and modern hosting strategies.
- Experience designing cyber resiliency, disaster recovery, availability, and business continuity capabilities for critical technology services.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior technology leaders and drive alignment across multiple teams and organizational boundaries.
- Experience facilitating architecture governance, technology standards development, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess technology tradeoffs, risks, and strategic implications.
What Could Set You Apart:- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or infrastructure modernization programs.
- Knowledge of resiliency frameworks, critical business service resiliency, and operational resilience practices.
- Experience with platform engineering, infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud operating models.
- Familiarity with architecture methodologies and frameworks such as TOGAF, capability modeling, or strategic roadmapping.
- Experience aligning technology strategy across infrastructure, application, data, and security architecture disciplines.
- Industry certifications in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, resiliency, or related technology domains.
- Proven success operating in highly regulated, complex environments.
