Full Job Description
In the role of Senior Technical Advisor-Transit Planning, we'll count on you to:
Lead interdisciplinary teams on a variety of transit planning projects
Provide subject matter expertise to project teams in FTA/FRA Project Development/NEPA
Troubleshoot project delivery issues and support resolution planning
Conduct Project and Quality Control reviews
Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Collaborate with national and regional transit planning practice group leaders to maintain a competitive practice and manage workshare arrangements
Support business development initiatives in defining growth strategies for the NY/NJ market
Maintain strong client relationships, with an understanding of client needs, funding mechanisms, and regulatory environments
Support selected planning pursuits in the Northeast through technical and fee proposal preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years working in the transit industry
Preference given to candidates currently residing in the NY/NJ Area
