Our Private Wealth International practice recognizes the unique challenges of wealthy individuals and privately held business owners.We help company executives, business owners, affluent families and family offices, estates, and trusts in managing, preserving and transitioning wealth.Our consulting professionals provide comprehensive strategic income, trust, estate and gift tax, succession planning, valuation and international tax services.
Our Private Wealth (International) practice focuses on individuals and families with global assets and tax implications.

What youll do:
- Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities:
- Prepare and review complex individual, trust, estate, gift and state tax returns and international disclosures
- Analyze international holdings for disclosure purposes and assist clients with planning around foreign assets and minimizing global taxation
- Work on multiple engagements that deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including federal estate, gift, charitable planning and generation skipping tax
- Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
- Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals

Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree
- Eligible to obtain CPA, JD, or EA
- 3 years of professional experience
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field required
- Actively pursuing a CPA, MST or JD/LLM preferred
- Two (2) + year(s) experience in tax return preparation and planning for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses
- Two (2) + year(s) experience in international asset disclosure preparation for individuals with foreign accounts, businesses, trusts, and other foreign investments
- An interest to assist affluent families and individuals enhance and preserve their wealth
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred
The pay rate range for this job position is $72,300 to $150,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicants skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
