A Role Designed for Growth and Breadth

This is not a static compliance role. It’s a career path designed for tax professionals who want to:

  • Develop deeper expertise in integrated tax, estate, and financial planning strategies

  • See how tax decisions ripple across investments, liquidity planning, business succession, and legacy goals

  • Research, analyze, and resolve a wide range of tax issues

  • Communicate with clients to request data, respond to questions, and participate in client meetings as a support role for the lead advisor

  • Proactively interact with clients and assist in creating an outstanding client experience.

  • Assist with the timely completion and submission of all client-related transaction requests.

  • Organize and maintain the CRM system (Salesforce), utilize Thomson Reuters Suite to prepare returns and projections.

  • Drive proactive process improvement for advisors and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with private equity, executive compensation, high complexity K-1 activity, and multi-state filings at the individual level

  • Growth mindset – desire to improve, learn, and evolve in a high-performing team

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dense environment during tax season

  • Interest in building a long-term career with access to unique career paths and advancement opportunities as Cerity Partners continues to grow

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus)

  • 3-7 years of experience in a similar setting

  • Proven experience working with high-net-worth individuals and family entities

  • Proficiency in technology-driven tax workflows (Thomson Reuters experience preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
