A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the development of the next generation of technologies that enable new market applications. You will provide technical leadership across a variety of disciplines including ozone, remote plasma sources, electronic control systems, electro-mechanical subsystems, signal acquisition, and data processing.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Lead technical planning activities, including scope definition, effort estimation, milestone tracking, and status reporting.
Work closely with Product Marketing and applications team to scope market requirements and customer needs
Create system level engineering design specifications and project scope documents
Develop and execute system integration, verification, and Design Verification Test (DVT) plans.
Drive technical issue resolution, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Compliance Engineering.
Manage technical project schedules, deliverables, resource planning, dependencies, and risk mitigation activities.
Ensure projects are executed on time while meeting performance, quality, regulatory, and cost objectives.
Prepare and present technical updates, program reviews, risk assessments, and executive-level communications to stakeholders.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 10 % of Travel is required.
The majority of the work will be in Wilmington but 20%+ of the work will be in Methuen.
Skills You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or systems engineering or similar with 5+ years of experience
Ability to understand and manage tradeoffs between cost, performance, and schedules
Track record of successful new product releases, with experience in the entire product development process.
Experience with analog and digital design circuitry, proper test methodology, and systems integration.
Experience creating and executing system integration, integrating electromechanical systems, and Design Verification Test (DVT) plans.
Strong technical communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills
Skilled with Failure Analysis (FMEA)

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $111,850.00 - 186,400.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
