U.S. Citizen eligible for DOD Secret clearance
Current Security+ certification
5+ years hands-on experience installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows client and server operating system
Proven experience in the integration and testing of hardware (servers, networking devices, clients) and testing of software (Operating Systems, networked applications, databases, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and on a team
Desired Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or a related discipline
Knowledge of maritime IT systems and networks
MCP or MCSE with Hyper-V experience
Ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments
Understanding of network and systems security principles and techniques
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and IP configuration
Experience with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for network devices, virtual machine hosts, and virtual machine guest deployment (installation, configuration, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Windows XP/7, Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline, Microsoft Outlook 2010/2016, Microsoft Office Suite 2010/2016, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010/2016, and Microsoft Server 2008R2/2016
