Overview

Position Title: Senior Systems Administrator & CI/CD Lead

Location: Aberdeen, MD; Onsite/Hybrid

Reports To: Program Manager / Designee

Job Type: Full-time

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to TS (SCI Eligible) (U.S. Citizenship is required)

Summary:

The Senior Systems Administrator & CI/CD Lead (SA4) acts as the infrastructure backbone across Enterprise & Edge Cyber, Hydra Open API, and LINCHPIN data pipelines. This expert stands up CI/CD automation pipelines, provisions secure test sandboxes, manages enclave patching routines, and integrates automated data streams into core delivery infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure & CI/CD Pipeline Management:
    • Build, maintain, and secure the CI/CD development infrastructure for Hydra Open API releases and LINCHPIN AI/ML models.
    • Integrate data pipelines into cloud and edge deployment environments (CDRL D11).
  • Enclave Patching & Configuration Control:
    • Perform monthly enclave patching, system maintenance, and configuration logging (CDRL D9).
    • Support CUI laboratory operations, receiving Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), deploying vendor software, and maintaining network connectivity.
  • Zero-Trust Infrastructure Support:
    • Provision and sustain sandboxes for System Acceptance Testing (D7) and vulnerability scanning.


Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
    • 4+ years of relevant systems administration experience in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II/III (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, Linux+, or CASP+).

Experience:
  • 6+ years managing Linux/Windows enterprise infrastructure, DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines, and network enclaves in DoD environments.
  • Experience supporting CUI-compliant lab facilities near APG or managing Atlassian toolsets (Jira/Confluence) for software release management is preferred.

Skills:
  • Technical: Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Windows Server, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Ansible/Terraform, STIG compliance, Bash/Python scripting.
  • Soft Skills: High reliability, systematic problem-solving, collaborative teamwork.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.
