Senior Surveying Project Manager in the posting locations below. The Senior Surveying Project Manager is a licensed professional surveyor responsible for the management of multiple large and small projects simultaneously. In this role, you will lead the development of the project scope and fee, and be involved in managing the proposed schedule, budget, performance, quality control, project deliverables, and client business development initiatives.
Posting Locations: Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center) and Colorado Springs, CO
What You'll Do: - Lead staff on the correct use of CAD platforms and other technology in the preparation of deliverables, including plats, ALTAs, as-builts, exhibits, and legal descriptions.
- Utilize CAD and Trimble platforms daily in the production of drawings of varying complexity.
- Develop contracts, scopes, fees, schedules, and marketing strategies with support.
- Manage, assign, and review the work of team members relative to specified metrics.
- Delegate and supervise surveying work assigned to staff throughout the course of a project.
- Serve as the project representative during client meetings and engagements.
- Manage budgets, prepare invoices, and submit monthly progress reports.
- Actively engaged in business development efforts and client management.
- Follow company surveying policies and procedures (industry best practices).
- Other duties, as assigned.
What You'll Need:- Valid US driver's license and good driving record.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree/Land Surveying approved classes certificate.
- Ability to operate in a mentor/mentee team atmosphere.
- Ability to understand and utilize current and new technology.
- Safety-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive and collaborative work ethic.
- Experience with MS Office products (Word and Excel).
- Professional Land Surveyor's License required (PLS, RLS, LS).
- Experience with Trimble equipment, Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD C3D/MicroStation ORD.
Nice To Haves:- 10+ years of surveying experience (4 years as a licensed professional surveyor).
- Desire to sit for the Professional Land Surveyor's exam in neighboring states.
- Experienced with Aerial Drone and 3D Point Cloud scanning technology.
- Familiarity with surveying control networks, the PLSS system, and QA/QC procedures.
- Experience supervising, managing, and training field & office technicians.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:- Primarily an office position, with the ability to work outside on projects if needed.
- Requires the ability to work on multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously.
- Ability to use a computer and work in an office environment.
- Make suggestions and undertake company-mandated training to increase skill and ability.
- Comfortable signing drawings and responsibly serving in charge of projects.
