Job DescriptionAbout the TeamThe Sr. Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing the logistics project activities by ensuring successful progression of both internal and external customer milestones. During the launch projects this position is acting as team lead. The Position is responsible for pre-series parts supply and pre-series transmission deliveries to the customer while managing many cross functions within the whole logistics department.
What you can look forward to as Senior Supply Chain Specialist:- Lead interdepartmental activities with management to define the project class and scope of project and resources needed.
- Manage, review, and ensure maintenance of New Parts List or comparable project task list by product for all relevant topics.
- Act as Team Lead, working with ZF teams (launch management, logistics, purchasing, quality and sales) and global SCM, in order to support business development, capacity, and continuity.
- Ensure material availability to support the ZFTG production schedule, independent orders for pre-series, bank builds, etc. by reviewing stock levels, vendor performance and production schedule to avoid potential shortfalls and report status reviews for all build phases.
- Lead projects and processes to continuously improve the material and information flow.
Your Profile as Senior Supply Chain Specialist:- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 6+ years progressive experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
