Qualifications

• 10+ years of project superintendent experience; 15+ years total in construction preferred.
• Prior experience with correctional facility construction like prisons or jails strongly preferred.
• Expertise in managing complex commercial, institutional, or government construction projects.
• Familiarity with detention equipment and security systems is highly desired.
• Background in managing MEPF systems, coordinating project schedules, inspections, and subcontractor relationships is essential.
• History of guiding projects through to commissioning and final turnover with success.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills vital for effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and supervision of all construction activities in the field.
• Schedule and coordinate the work of subcontractors and field personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and safety standards at all levels.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing of tasks.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues that may affect safety, quality, cost, or timelines.
• Coordinate all inspections, testing, and commissioning, ensuring successful turnover and compliance.
• Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation to support transparency and accountability.
