About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive the development of various critical backend systems to support product engineering, with a focus on integrations and positioning Reach within a larger software ecosystem. You will tackle challenges across multiple domains, such as large-scale data retrieval and processing, management of sensitive customer data such as credentials, and system design that support complex interconnected systems. Candidates with a strong foundation in Python, Authz and Authn, data structures, system design, and technical leadership experience will find this role both challenging and rewarding.

The ideal candidate is a motivated problem solver who prioritizes high-quality solutions and excels in navigating ambiguity. As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of various aspects of our backend from day one. Your role will be pivotal in guiding and mentoring your fellow team members, establishing engineering best practices, balancing engineering priorities with business needs, and identifying innovative approaches to deliver outstanding value to our users.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop an ecosystem of integrations, connecting to multiple external providers to ingest large amounts of data.
