This is a high-ownership role for a product-minded engineer who can work across the full stack, shape product direction, and ship meaningful features end-to-end. The team operates in a zero-PM environment, so engineers are expected to think deeply about customers, product quality, technical execution, and business impact.
You'll work directly with the CTO, co-founder, and in-house designer to translate complex financial risk workflows into simple, high-performing product experiences.
What You'll Do- Own core product features from architecture through build, launch, iteration, and scale
- Help shape roadmap decisions based on customer needs and business priorities
- Build high-performance user interfaces for real-time market data, automated hedge recommendations, and open position tracking
- Develop backend APIs and automated workflows that power the customer-facing platform
- Translate complex financial and risk management workflows into intuitive product experiences
- Partner closely with technical leadership, design, and customers to ship high-impact features
- Move quickly in a high-ownership environment where engineers are expected to own outcomes, not just tickets
What We're Looking For- 2+ years of full-stack software engineering experience; ideally 4+ years
- Strong product instincts and comfort working without a traditional PM layer
- Experience building customer-facing products end-to-end
- Strong frontend engineering ability with a focus on performance, usability, and polished user experiences
- Backend experience building APIs, workflows, and scalable product infrastructure
- Ability to work closely with founders, designers, and customers
- High ownership, strong communication, and a bias toward shipping
- Interest in financial markets, risk management, real-time data, or complex workflow software
Why This Opportunity- Join a high-priority product engineering hire at an early-stage company
- Build software that helps customers manage real financial exposure and risk
- Work directly with the CTO, co-founder, and designer
- Own meaningful product surface area from day one
- Operate in a zero-PM environment with significant influence over product direction
- Build real-time, data-heavy tools for a large and underserved market
- Step into a role where engineering, product, and customer impact are tightly connected
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a product-minded full-stack engineer who wants ownership, speed, and direct customer impact. They enjoy working across the frontend and backend, can turn ambiguous workflows into elegant products, and are excited to help build a category-defining platform for risk management in the physical economy.
