Senior Staff Consultant-Reimbursement

We are currently seeking Reimbursement Seniors to join our firm-wide Healthcare Advisory practice. This position may be based in our Louisville, KY or Chattanooga, TNoffices.

As a Senior Reimbursement Associate you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of our clients in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of cost report work papers, provider application and certification support, managing state supplemental payment program reporting and consulting, and offering various other accounting and reimbursement assistance within hospitals under the supervision of a Reimbursement Manager or Director.

Position Details:
  • Prepare Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Provide analysis of various reimbursement projects which may include Medicare DSH, Medicaid DSH, Wage Index, Occupational Mix, IME, GME and Worksheet S-10 engagements.
  • Monitor engagement status and budget requirements for profitable and timely completion of assigned reimbursement projects.
  • Plan, develop strategies, and supervise Reimbursement Associates in all phases of cost report engagements.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic reimbursement plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Research regulatory issues that arise during engagements.
  • Identify opportunities and provide clients with support in making strategic reimbursement decisions.
  • Build relationships with clients and community contacts to contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the Firm.
  • Work cross-functionally with other members of the healthcare consulting practice.
