Senior Staff Accountant The Senior Staff Accountant ensures the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the company financial information while supporting more complex accounting activities and decision making. The purpose of the position is to bridge the day-to-day accounting operations and higher financial oversight, ensuring the numbers make sense, comply with standards and are useful for the leadership team.
Primary Duties:- Month end closing on time and with accurate reporting of transactions and preparation of Financial Statements. Including financial statements consolidation for the different legal entities.
- Ensure appropriate accounting and management of master financial data
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting, under GAAP and internal policies
- Ensure accurate costing of business products is reported on its different locations
- Propose and undertake necessary actions to comply with corporate guidelines
- Support tax compliance, manage tax, internal and external audits
- Provide necessary information to Corporate for Risk Management
- Ensure all external audit requirements are delivered timely (e.g., prepare materials, coordinate deadlines)
- Analyze financial situation of the Business and bring recommendations to management
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Partner with FP&A, Brand Managers and Operations for monthly Product Line performance reviews.
- Work with cross-functional teams on innovation and cost savings projects.

- Collaborate with functional areas (HR, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
- Support manager with preparation of Monthly actuals and projected cash flows
- Work on implementation of an enhanced REP system, Business Central
- Work on any other projects assigned on ad-hoc basis
- Participate in annual planning, periodic S&OP, quarterly Reforecasts and weekly Flash processes.
- Support weekly Flash Report preparation and presentation on the Finance Flash drill.

Education and/or Experience: - B.A. in Accounting or an equivalent
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- 5+ years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience on ERP similar to Business Central/Microsoft Dynamis

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common vendor documents. Ability to communicate with vendors to resolve common inquiries or complaints. Ability to effectively present information to supervisor.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of most commonly used business systems and NAV software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes.
