Senior Specialist, Executive Assistant to join our
Market Transformation & Innovation (MT&I) Hub team. This role is located in
New York City.
The MT&I Hub is responsible for driving product innovation, market transformation, digital asset strategy, commercialization, partnerships, and next-generation market infrastructure initiatives across BNY. The Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring operational excellence, effective executive engagement, and seamless coordination across a highly visible and rapidly evolving organization.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage complex executive calendars and priorities for senior MT&I leadership, coordinating meetings across internal stakeholders, clients, industry partners, regulators, and executive management. Exercise sound judgment in balancing competing priorities, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring executives are focused on the highest-value activities.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, strategy sessions, and governance forums by managing logistics, preparing materials, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up. Support effective communication and decision-making across the MT&I Hub and its partner organizations.
- Arrange domestic and international travel for executives, including managing itineraries, transportation, accommodations, and meeting schedules. Anticipate potential challenges and provide responsive support to ensure seamless execution.
- Serve as a central coordination point for the MT&I leadership team, partnering closely with Chiefs of Staff, business managers, and key stakeholders across Product Commercialization, Digital Assets, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, and Operations. Maintain strong relationships with executive assistants and support staff throughout the organization.
- Support organizational effectiveness and engagement activities including leadership offsites, town halls, onboarding efforts, executive visits, and strategic events. Help facilitate a positive and highly organized operating environment that enables leaders and teams to execute effectively.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, and strong executive presence in all interactions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Significant experience supporting senior executives in a complex, fast-paced environment, preferably within financial services, technology, innovation, strategy, product management, or a global corporate setting.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to interact professionally and confidently with senior executives, clients, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism when handling confidential business information and sensitive matters.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, collaboration tools, and executive support processes, including calendar management, travel coordination, presentation preparation, and meeting logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships, operate independently, and influence outcomes through collaboration and proactive problem solving.
- No direct people-management responsibilities are anticipated; however, the successful candidate will exhibit leadership through ownership, initiative, partnership, and a commitment to supporting the objectives of the broader MT&I Hub.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting.
Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
