ROLE OVERVIEWThe Sr. Sourcing Manager is responsible for building, optimizing, and managing the Fanatics Brands global source base to achieve industry-leading quality, on-time delivery, and competitive costs while developing partnerships in a sustainable and compliant business environment. This role provides strategic leadership across all sourcing functions - from annual allocation strategy and cost negotiations to cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Design, and Product Development - operating effectively at both the macro/strategic and tactical execution levels. The Sr. Sourcing Manager delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner closely with Merchandising, Design, and Product Development on seasonal assortments, special programs, and events, integrating sourcing into the product creation process from the earliest stages.
- Collaborate with the Fanatics Brands planning team on seasonal forecasts and long-term capacity planning, and work with the Sourcing Operations Team on Incoterms, payment terms, shipping requirements, and customer compliance needs.
- Communicate regularly with regional Product Creation Centers (PCCs) globally to align on source base strategy, seasonal allocation, cost negotiations, and capacity management.
People Leadership:
- Recruit, coach, develop, and supervise an industry-best sourcing team, building the capabilities required to support Fanatics Brands' growth trajectory.
- Provide ongoing direction and performance management to ensure team members are meeting sourcing milestones, critical dates, and quality standards.
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
- Ensure on-time delivery of licensed sporting product by maintaining rigorous calendar adherence to sourcing milestones and actively managing capacity across the global source base.
- Drive vendor performance through scorecard reporting and continual review of quality, price, delivery, and compliance against Fanatics Brands requirements - so fans always receive the product they expect, when they expect it.
- Participate in the vendor onboarding process to ensure new partners meet Fanatics Brands standards, protecting the integrity of the licensed product experience.
- Collaborate with Product Integrity and the Sourcing Operations Team on vendor manuals and manufacturing agreements to uphold quality and compliance standards across all supplier relationships.
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
- Develop and continuously optimize the annual allocation strategy by supplier and hemisphere, ensuring a balanced global source base while driving margin enhancement.
- Introduce and implement new sourcing processes and procedures that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and align with evolving business needs.
- Identify opportunities to diversify and evolve strategic supplier partnerships in response to changes in trade, logistics, and business strategy - including vendors in Asia and South/Central America.
- Leverage data and technology tools to maintain an accurate source matrix document and costing tracker, enabling informed margin and financial reporting.
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
- Own the full sourcing lifecycle - from strategic vendor partnerships and seasonal allocation to cost negotiations, compliance, and delivery execution - ensuring margin goals and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Maintain rigorous vendor scorecard reporting for all sourcing functions, working cross-functionally with Product Development and Product Integrity on related reporting and accountability.
- Manage all aspects of sourcing in sustainable and compliant facilities, ensuring adherence to industry-standard quality processes, compliance regulations, and customs/logistics requirements.
- Execute special projects as assigned, bringing the same level of ownership and rigor to ad hoc priorities as to core sourcing responsibilities.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRINGRequired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, development, quality, and production within the apparel or licensed merchandise industry.
- Strong working experience with global trade in textiles and apparel sourcing processes, including deep familiarity with vendor management in Asia and South/Central America.
- Technical background with knowledge in material and garment construction, including industry-standard quality processes, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of customs compliance and logistics, including Incoterms and international shipping requirements.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing sourcing teams.
- Ability to introduce and implement new processes, communicate effectively across multiple cultural and experience levels (internal and external), and operate efficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and relevant sourcing/production systems; travel required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
