What will you contribute?The Global Solution Consulting team works with Sales, Product, Professional Services, Managed Services, Customer Support, Security, Commercial, and partners to shape and win customer opportunities. Teciem is seeking a senior, customer-focused Solutions Consultant with strong bank treasury knowledge and Kondor expertise for the Americas.
The Senior Solutions Consultant leads discovery, qualification, solution design, demonstrations, RFI/RFP responses, workshops, fit-gap analysis, proofs of concept, and customer-facing value articulation, translating complex requirements into clear Kondor solutions that Teciem can support and deliver.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Partner with Account Executives from qualification and discovery through proposal, commercial support, and transition to delivery.
- Lead discovery with business, risk, operations, finance, architecture, security, and technology stakeholders to understand current state, priorities, constraints, and decision criteria.
- Assess solution fit across client segment, product and asset-class coverage, deployment model, integrations, data residency, managed operations, implementation approach, and organizational readiness.
- Design and position front-to-back Kondor solutions across trading, position keeping, pricing, limits, risk, operations, accounting, settlement, reporting, and integration.
- Position Kondor Up, cloud deployment, managed services, APIs, Blueprints, modernization, and evergreening options where these align with the client's target operating model and business objectives.
- Own the demonstration strategy, storyline, environment readiness, delivery, question management, and follow-up for business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Lead the Kondor functional workstream for RFIs, RFPs, proposals, due diligence, oral defenses, clarification sessions, and proofs of concept.
- Coordinate Product, Services, Managed Services, Security, Commercial, Support, and partners so proposed solutions are coherent, supportable, and aligned across scope, architecture, implementation, and commercial assumptions.
- Maintain current demonstration scripts, datasets, environments, discovery guides, response content, competitive positioning, and reusable solution assets.
- Mentor GSC colleagues and contribute to internal enablement, product-readiness activities, demo excellence, and knowledge transfer to reduce dependency on individual product experts.
- Travel across the Americas based on customer and opportunity requirements.
Knowledge and Skills- Deep knowledge of bank treasury and capital markets operations across front, middle, and back office, including several of: FX and money markets, fixed income, interest-rate products, derivatives, funding and liquidity, position management, P&L, risk, limits, settlement, accounting, and reporting.
- Ability to discuss how treasury and trading platforms integrate with market data, execution venues, core banking, payments, general ledger, enterprise risk, data, and reporting ecosystems.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Kondor, K+TP, or a comparable enterprise treasury and capital markets platform, with sufficient breadth to design and position a front-to-back solution.
- Understanding of solution architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, enterprise deployment models, cloud and SaaS concepts, managed services, non-functional requirements, and implementation dependencies.
- Strong consultative discovery, presentation, demonstration, executive storytelling, written communication, and RFI/RFP response skills.
- Commercial judgment to balance customer value, differentiation, solution integrity, delivery feasibility, risk, and deal momentum.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and lead virtual cross-functional teams across regions and time zones.
Experience- Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience in treasury and capital markets technology, banking, consulting, implementation, product management, solution architecture, or solution consulting.
- Hands-on experience with Kondor, K+TP, or a comparable bank treasury platform in pre-sales, consulting, implementation, upgrade, migration, support, product, or a senior business-user role.
- Experience leading complex enterprise software sales cycles, including discovery, demonstrations, fit-gap assessments, solution design, RFI/RFP responses, customer presentations, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proven experience supporting complex enterprise software sales cycles within banking, financial services, fintech, treasury, or capital markets technology.
Education and Certifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Formal training or certification in presentation skills, value selling, solution architecture, cloud technology, risk, treasury, or financial markets is preferred.
Success in the Role- Creates customer confidence by connecting treasury workflows, technology, and business outcomes to a coherent Kondor solution.
- Builds reusable Kondor assets and transfers knowledge across GSC to improve scalability and coverage.
Role Boundaries- The Senior Solutions Consultant owns solution quality and customer-facing pre-sales leadership for assigned opportunities, but does not replace Product ownership, formal Services estimation, security approval, legal review, or Commercial pricing authority.
- Roadmap items, delivery dates, implementation estimates, security commitments, customer references, and commercial figures must be validated by the appropriate owner before being represented externally.
- When Kondor is not the best fit, the Senior Solutions Consultant is expected to recommend an adjacent Teciem solution, a partner-supported approach, or a qualify-out decision based on evidence.
