Senior Software EngineerRemote (U.S., excluding California) Full-time, exempt $110,000 - $140,000, plus bonus eligibilityWhat You'll Do- Design, build, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, primarily using Go
- Partner with product, QA, and other engineers to turn business needs into reliable technical solutions
- Guide API design, code reviews, and engineering standards, with attention to security, performance, and maintainability
- Help modernize legacy functionality into modular services and improve testing, observability, and delivery practices
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and support a culture of learning and shared ownership
RequirementsWhat You'll Bring- 6+ years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership on complex backend projects
- Strong proficiency in a backend programming language and a willingness to work in Go
- Hands-on experience designing, securing, and integrating RESTful APIs and external systems
- Experience with database design and performance using relational or document databases
- Working knowledge of software architecture, CI/CD, and cloud-based development
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical partners
Nice to Have- Go, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB experience
- Microservices, distributed systems, integration hubs, or service bus patterns
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Financial services or fintech experience, including familiarity with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
- AI-enabled integrations, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients or servers
