What You'll Do
• Build high-performance, multithreaded Rust systems for large-scale trade flow and event processing.
• Design, ship, and operate distributed services that are reliable, observable, secure, and production-ready.
• Own services end-to-end-from architecture and implementation through CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and ongoing operational improvement.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD and release workflows using Jenkins and Octopus Deploy, supporting consistent, controlled releases across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
• Improve engineering velocity and release quality through automated testing, deployment validation, configuration management, versioning, and rollback capabilities.
• Use AI coding tools and agents, such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar platforms, to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and refactoring while applying sound engineering judgment to validate outputs.
• Optimize throughput, latency, memory efficiency, reliability, and AWS infrastructure cost at scale.
• Collaborate with engineers and platform teams across New York, London, Poland, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

• Build, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices, with a focus on security, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Operate and improve OpenSearch as a search, logging, and analytics platform, including reliability, performance, data lifecycle, access controls, and operational scalability.
• Automate repetitive operational work and improve observability, alerting, and incident-response processes to reduce manual intervention and strengthen production reliability.
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software in high-performance or enterprise environments.
• Strong programming fundamentals, including software design, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, debugging, and testing.
• Significant production experience with Rust, including async/await, ownership, memory management, and multithreaded programming; working knowledge of C# and .NET Core is also required.
• Experience building distributed systems using REST, gRPC, microservices, and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS/SNS.
• A strong DevOps and production-ownership mindset, with experience building software that is observable, secure, resilient, and supportable in live environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and release-management tooling-particularly Jenkins and Octopus Deploy-including pipeline development, deployment orchestration, and production release support.
• Experience with production monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Strong AWS experience, including serverless and performance-aware system design.
• Extensive use of AI-assisted development tools and coding agents to improve delivery velocity across coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and workflow automation, paired with strong judgment on validation and correctness.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative team.

• Experience using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
Nice to Have
• Experience integrating AI coding agents into team engineering workflows.
