Role Summary:As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, while integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities to enhance platform intelligence. What You'll Do: - Own the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
- Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring: - 6+ Years of Software Engineer experience at a senior level
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven expertise in Full Stack Development: UI Frameworks, Test Frameworks, API development, and database development
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Rust, TypeScript, and GraphQL
- Strong experience in delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform and business objectives.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
