Full Job Description
About the Role

Sales software was built for humans. But we believe most sales work will be done by agents within the next two years. AI Sequencing is our bet on getting there. Reps use the tool as a "copilot" and spend 4+ hours a day in it, drafting emails, running LinkedIn outreach, researching prospects, queuing follow-ups. The Core Product team owns this product surface, and we're hiring senior engineers who want a say in what it becomes.
What you'll do
  • Build AI features that drive revenue, end to end. Define the success metric, and iterate until it moves.
  • Work directly with customers. Our biggest accounts have shared Slack channels with our engineers; you'll be on calls with users one day and shipping fixes back to them the next.
  • Make foundational technical decisions. How should agent memory work per rep? What's the right primitive for a long-running outbound strategy?
  • Mentor others on the team. Run code and design reviews, and pair on the hardest problems.
You might be a strong fit if:
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, with depth in something close to our stack (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python).
  • Production experience with AI features. For example, you've debugged misbehaving agents and built the evals to keep issues from recurring.
  • Strong opinions, held loosely, about what the product surface of human-agent collaboration should look like.
  • Not afraid to hop on a call with a customer to validate a feature you just built.
  • You make the rest of the team faster.
  • Based in San Francisco, excited to be in-office 3+ days per week.

At Nooks You'll Enjoy
  • A world-class team. Around 40 engineers, mostly former founders or founding engineers and veteran builders from places like Applied Intuition, Scale, Airtable, Citadel, and Jane Street. Thirteen Olympiad medals across the team.
  • Defining a new product category. We don't fully know what sales engagement looks like when agents do most of the work. The people who join now help decide.
  • Top-of-market compensation.
