Job Description - Senior Software Engineer (.Net /C#) - Capital Markets
Day to Day job Duties:
Participate in the technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions for the Capital Markets business.
Work on mission-critical applications, ensuring high levels of performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with business users and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Contribute to the architecture and technical design of new and existing applications, including both in-house and external applications.
Develop high-quality software using C#/.NET and/or C++.
Design and implement solutions involving data processing, message transfer, and integration.
Work closely with the wider development team to share technical knowledge, design solutions, and achieve overall project objectives.
Assist with defining the technical vision and strategic technology roadmap for Capital Markets applications.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues independently and proactively.
Ensure solutions adhere to established software engineering, coding, architecture, and security standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technology platforms.
Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the development team where required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Minimum eight (8) years of professional software development experience, including hands-on development using C#/.NET and/or C++.
Minimum five (5) years of experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-availability enterprise applications, including software architecture, integration, and distributed system design.
Minimum five (5) years of experience developing solutions involving data processing, messaging, APIs, system integration, and relational databases.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in production environments, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work onsite at the client location in Charlotte, NC a minimum of three (3) days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Capital Markets, Financial Services, Banking, or Trading environments.
Knowledge of Fixed Income products, trading workflows, and market data platforms.
Experience with real-time data processing, messaging technologies, and distributed systems.
Experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical architecture and strategic technology initiatives.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [ 75 - 80 $ W2 hourly range].
