What You Will Experience in This Role:

We are seeking a full stack Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET and Angular to join our talented engineering team. Working part of an Agile Scrum team, you will play a key role in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications that serve a diverse range of customers. This is a hands-on position, we want someone who is focused, and passionate about coding, and development. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless, performant, and highly scalable solutions.

We expect all our team members to contribute towards building a culture of continuous learning and improvement. We are open to new approaches and ideas. CAMP offers a unique domain, as well as a chance to be part of a product that affects the readiness, safety, and performance of business aircraft from nearly every major manufacturer. Like many of our team, if you are selected, with hard work, a continued quest for knowledge, and a knack for troubleshooting, there are endless possibilities for growth and development.

As an engineering team, we are moving decisively toward AI-driven software development, and this role will use AI coding tools and frameworks extensively as part of daily work, including setting the standard for how the team adopts them. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Architect and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using .NET (Core, ASP.Net, Web API) and Angular and ExtJS.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following the industry's best practices. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure coding standards are met.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features on time.
  • Performance Optimization: Focus on optimizing the performance of both front-end and back-end components, ensuring the application scales effectively and provides an excellent user experience.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Investigate production issues, resolve defects, and implement preventative measures for future releases.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and frameworks and evaluate new tools and techniques to improve development workflows and application performance.

  • Leading Technical Design: Lead technical design discussions and drive alignment across the team on implementation approaches for complex features and systems.
  • Architectural Decisions: Make and document key architectural decisions, weighing trade-offs in scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Managing Technical Risk: Identify technical risk early across the codebase and delivery timeline, and proactively raise and mitigate issues before they become blockers.
  • Mentoring Engineers: Mentor and coach engineers across the team, providing technical guidance, code review feedback, and support for their growth and development.
  • Improving Engineering Practices: Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and standards across the team.
  • AI-Driven Development & Enablement: Champion the use of AI coding assistants and LLM-based tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) across the team; establish best practices for AI-assisted code review, prompting, and quality guardrails, and mentor other engineers in using these tools effectively.

Technical Skills:

  • Backend: Expertise in .NET Core (C#), ASP.NET MVC, Web API, NHibernate, and Oracle (or equivalent relational database systems).
