Software Engineer (SWE-3) - Mission Application DevelopmentMake an Impact Where It Matters MostIn this role, you will help design, evolve, and sustain a critical software ecosystem used in real-world operations. You will work on systems that are actively deployed, relied on every day, and expected to perform in demanding environments. This is a strong fit for an engineer who wants meaningful work, modern tooling, and a direct connection between what they build and how the mission moves.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand OutThis is not a role focused on abstract problems or software that never leaves the lab. You will work on real mission applications, including sustainment and enhancement of existing capabilities like DINO, while also helping build new services and integrations that keep the platform moving forward. One day might focus on troubleshooting production issues in Linux. Another might center on building Python or Rust services, integrating with RabbitMQ, or deploying workloads into Kubernetes. The work stays varied, hands-on, and closely tied to systems people depend on.
At Intelliforce, you join a tight-knit engineering team where your work is visible and your contributions matter. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another software role. It is a chance to build and sustain software with real operational value.
