Full Job Description
Your Tasks:
  • Lead and coordinate electrical installation activities at customer sites.
  • Manage electrical subcontractors and monitor performance, safety, quality, schedule, and contract completion.
  • Serve as the site liaison among project management, engineering, senior site leadership, subcontractors, trades, customers, and commissioning teams.
  • Ensure electrical installations conform to engineering drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-job walkthroughs with trade councils and resolve jurisdictional or work-demarcation issues.
  • Lead internal and subcontractor site-coordination meetings, document decisions, and issue meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Resolve field installation, coordination, and minor engineering issues in partnership with the appropriate technical teams.
  • Support customer bulletins, field orders, change requests, and other project documentation.
  • Create and monitor contractor punch lists through final completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractor equipment testing, documentation, turnover, and handoff to commissioning personnel.
  • Verify hardwired electrical installations and support equipment startup, testing, and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot controls hardware, software, industrial networks, and installation-related issues.
  • Record baseline data, collect project-performance information, mark up drawing changes, and generate reports as required.
  • Participate in and actively support all site safety, quality, and housekeeping programs.
  • Provide standby and customer support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively on major projects and independently on smaller assignments.

Your Skills:
  • Technical training as a master electrician, electrical technician, electrical installation specialist, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least three years of electrical installation supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading industrial electrical installation work for machinery, equipment, or large-scale production systems.
  • Experience installing power-distribution systems and heavy-duty electrical stations.
  • Experience installing, testing, and measuring industrial networks such as Ethernet and PROFINET.
  • Working knowledge of applicable European and U.S. electrical codes and standards, including EN 60204-1, UL 508A, NEC, and NFPA requirements.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and working effectively within union and labor-relations environments.
  • OSHA 30 certification and working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical installations and controls hardware and software during startup and commissioning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel approximately 90% and work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on project needs.
