Senior Sales & Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to join our New Britain, CT team.

As our Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be the primary contact for sales and business development for our Liquid Coatings facility.

You will play a key role in strategic planning, pipeline development, bid and proposal leadership, customer relationship management and market intelligence gathering.

Location: New Britain, CT

Salary $145,000-$160,000 + bonus

Your Challenge
  • Leads customer engagement strategies and cultivates and maintains relationships at senior levels to influence future business opportunities. Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Measures the existing markets and company's share. Analyzes geographic sales results and implements specific actions in underperforming regions. Identifies new markets and the need for new products. Expands share of market with existing and new accounts.
  • Implements sales policies, marketing communication programs and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Interprets long and short-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Works directly with the facility to facilitate quoting and pricing.
  • Drives cross-functional collaboration across engineering, programs operations and finance to ensure customer needs are met and business objectives are achieved.
  • Supports the North East region (CT and surrounding states).
  • Interfaces with the customer.


What You Bring
  • Experience with sales and business development selling services.
  • Experience with sales in defense or commercial aerospace industries
  • In-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, including technical specifications and applications.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in a technical or engineering environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Operation skills - understanding of the production and job shop environment.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% (primarily in the local area).
