This position is
on-site throughout Northern Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Region . The Senior Safety Manager will lead regional safety operations, oversee a team of Safety Coordinators, and partner with operations and customers to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and promote a strong safety culture. Responsibilities for the Senior Safety Manager include:- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Safety Coordinators and contractor safety personnel supporting regional operations.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and incident prevention activities across multiple active job sites.
- Partner with Operations leadership to identify safety staffing needs and support project mobilization and growth initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between field personnel, customers, and executive leadership on safety-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety policies while fostering a proactive safety culture.
Required Qualifications for the Senior Safety Manager include:- 7+ years of construction, industrial, or field safety experience.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Experience managing Safety Coordinators, safety professionals, or contractor safety personnel.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety auditing, incident prevention, risk assessments, and compliance programs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both field personnel and executive leadership.
- Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region, including same-day site visits.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent safety leadership experience will be considered.
- No clearance required.
Compensation for the Senior Safety Manager include:Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
