Your Job

The Senior Right of Way (ROW) Agent plays a critical role in supporting pipeline operations and capital projects while building and maintaining positive relationships with landowners and other key stakeholders. In this role, you will partner closely with Project Managers, Operations Leaders, Integrity, Corrosion, and Damage Prevention teams to secure agreements, resolve land-related issues, and help ensure maintenance and construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role also offers a flexible 9/80's work schedule, meaning there is the potential for every other Friday off, depending on workload.

What You Will Do
  • Identifies land ownership from company and public records
  • Provide daily support for maintenance activities, including tool runs, integrity digs, and corrosion projects
  • Settlement of property damage claims associated with construction, operation, and maintenance activities
  • Review pipeline encroachments and coordinate with the necessary capabilities for review and approval
  • Apply established ROW processes, including project frameworks, function process flows, and standard template forms
  • Identify performance efficiencies and challenge the status quo
  • Manage and execute property acquisition process, including fee property for facilities and ROW easements, licenses or permits.
  • Direct contractor support for title and acquisition work
  • Prepare cost estimates associated with ROW and other agreement acquisition


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Five (5) years of experience in land and right-of-way management, including knowledge of deeds, easements, leases, permits, licenses, and other land-related agreements
  • Experience with general pipeline, electric line, or utility construction activity
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Comprehensive knowledge of land rights and titles, survey descriptions, and legal and engineering terminology, including the ability to read and understand maps and engineering plans
  • Experience supporting pipeline operations and projects through title research, contractor oversight, property damage claims resolution, agency permitting, and compliance with damage prevention and State One Call requirements.
  • Experience mentoring or training junior agents and contract support
