Job Description
We are looking for a talented
Senior (Revit) Architectural Technologist with extensive CAD experience to join our dedicated team at our office located in Vaughan, Toronto.
In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality architectural designs and ensuring efficient project delivery across project types, largely focused on the life sciences sector.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and manage architectural drawings and documentation using Revit and CAD software.
- Collaborate with project teams to create accurate and detailed design solutions.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior technologists and team members.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and technical challenges.
- Maintain and update project files, libraries, and templates within the BIM environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology.
- 5+ years of Revit experience within an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- High proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC) and construction detailing.
- Good communication skills with clients, consultants, and officials.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional software (e.g., SketchUp, Navisworks).
