WHAT THEY'LL DO
• Design, develop and own React Native applications and native modules for iOS and Android, driving architectural decisions
• Build intuitive, accessible and high-performing user interfaces
• Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers on best practices, native bridging, state management and performance
• Own release management end to end: CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, OTA updates, monitoring and rollback strategy
• Use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and set team standards for responsible AI use, review practices and quality gates
• Integrate apps with REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud services and third-party SDKs (payments, analytics, push notifications, authentication)
• Partner with clients and product, design, QA and backend teams to scope feasibility, estimate effort and shape roadmaps
• Contribute to technical proposals, discovery workshops and solution architecture for new client engagements
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 5+ years building and shipping production React Native apps, including 2+ years in a technical lead or mentoring role
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on native development in Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS), including native modules and platform-specific debugging
• Mobile release management and CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, EAS) with rollback strategy
• Professional use of AI coding assistants, with sound judgment on when to trust AI-generated code
• Strong grasp of mobile performance, offline support, security and accessibility
• Clear communication; comfortable working directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders
