5+ years of experience testing software for mass market products
Proficiency in programming languages: Angular, React, Vue, PHP, Python, C, C++, Rust, and Linux
Familiarity with test frameworks: Jest, pytest, Zephyr, Selenium, Appium
Experience with source code control systems: Git, Bitbucket
Knowledge of databases including RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and Vector databases
Responsibilities
Serve as a Software Development Engineer in Test with a focus on strong programming skills
Collaborate with product management to gather requirements and create test cases
Engage with development teams using a shift-left approach for early testing
Execute test cases and document results using Jira
Conduct end-to-end functional testing in a beta environment
Develop automation testing framework and testing tools for performance

This is a hybrid position in Falls Church, VA that offers an opportunity to work on the cutting edge of technology with a great team and make meaningful contributions every single day. We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer responsible for software testing, specifically functional, performance and end-end testing of CheckVideo flagship product assets. Additional duties include reviewing high level product requirements and system/software designs.
Responsibilities
Perform as a Software Development Engineer in Test with strong programming skills

Work with dev teams using a shift-left approach for earlier testing
Execute test cases and review/document results in Jira
Conduct end-end product functional testing in beta environment

Replicate production issues in controlled beta/QA environment
Experience with media codecs and streaming protocols
Prior experience with video processing
