Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute test cases for front-end, API, and integration testing using AI generated test cases with humans in the loop for review.
- Risk-based test planning and estimation, identifying critical scenarios, edge cases, negative testing, exploratory testing and determining appropriate regression coverage across multiple releases.
- Ensure test coverage and quality standards are maintained for Commercial and FedRAMP customers.
- Collaborate with product, developers and QA team members to resolve issues effectively.
- Own quality for assigned features from requirements through production readiness, including test strategy, execution, automation, defect management and release risk communication.
- Support system integration testing and continuous delivery workflows (CI/CD).
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to building test automation frameworks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, and proactively communicate progress and blockers.
- Participate in requirement/design discussions, review acceptance criteria, identify testability gaps and risks before development begins.
- Review test cases/automation created by other engineers, share best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers. This is an important Senior-level differentiator.
Knowledge and Technical Skills- 5-10 years of experience in manual and automation testing is a must.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and testing best practices.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA.
- Proven ability in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Prior experience with FedRAMP or secure testing practices is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in automation frameworks or scripting.
- Exposure to FedRAMP environments or working on government projects.
- Experience with MongoDB, AWS, and Elasticsearch is highly desirable and would be a strong advantage.
