Title:
Senior Proposal Manager

KBR is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Proposal Manager to join our dynamic team. The Senior Proposal Manager will play a crucial role in leading the proposal development process, ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, compliant, and complete proposals that meet client requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams; manage proposal schedules; craft compelling narratives that showcase our company's capabilities, expertise, and success; and contribute to the overall success of our business development efforts. Roles and Responsibilities

Proposal Leadership:
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP analysis to submission.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather necessary information for proposal content.
  • Provides leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.


Proposal Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Identify and allocate resources effectively to meet proposal requirements.


Content Development:
  • Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information into compelling proposals.


Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet the highest quality standards.
  • Implement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.


Engagement with Business

Development and Operations:
  • Interact with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.
  • Foster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.


Knowledge Management:
  • Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+years of direct proposal management experience managing complex Government bids of $100M+ , 3 of which should be in management. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability delivering proposals that are compliant with the RFP requirements and are consistent with the direction of the capture team
  • Track-record of success in developing winning, compliant, compelling proposals
  • Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred


Basic Compensation:

$151,700-$227,600

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
