Overview

As one of the largest and fastest-growing national networks of OB/GYN medical practices, Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a strategic, results-driven senior project manager responsible for the successful onboarding implementation of new care centers onto the Unified platform. This includes the integration of business functions, leading key process improvement initiatives, and collaborating with project managers throughout implementations while mentoring in best practices. Metrics of success include ensuring timely project outcomes, minimal care center disruptions, and positive care center experiences. The incumbent manages concurrent projects, while maintaining consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The senior project manager must exhibit cross-functional expertise, be able to work independently with little supervision, bring structure to ambiguous, complex problems across markets, build collaborative relationships across a variety of stakeholders, and proactively develop risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Leads the overall implementation of projects
  • Develops, updates, and manages overall project plans to reflect functional adjustments and care center dynamics
  • Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Coordinates documentation and scheduling of Athena and functional onboarding tasks and milestones
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports to stakeholders progress of the overall implementation
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks with downstream impacts to resolution
  • Manages multiple projects and work of respective project teams
  • Incorporates project lessons learned register into future project plan templates
  • Leads change management activities to support adoption of new processes, systems, and workflows.3

Develops executive-level updates, dashboards, and presentations communicating project health, risks, milestones, and key decisions.

Facilitates regular status meetings with stakeholders and reports to leadership

  • Partners with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, success criteria, and deliverables.
  • Leads key implementation meetings with care centers
  • Leads key strategic initiative meetings with functional and market leadership
  • Collaborates with project managers on Athena implementation progress parallel to the overall functional integration
  • Collaborates with other Unified functions to ensure coordination and completion of all additional integration related tasks and milestones
  • Manages vendor relationships ensuring coordination of functional tasks and timelines
  • Conducts overall and functional lessons learned activity on assigned projects to drive process improvement in collaboration with stakeholders across all components
  • Escalates issues when necessary
  • Supports care center go-live launches

Mentors, and supports new hire and current project managers by sharing implementation best practices, reinforcing standard project management tools and processes, providing guidance on project planning, stakeholder communication, risk identification, issue escalation, and post-implementation lessons learned, and serving as a resource to promote consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Continuously improves Unified implementation processes, project management tools, templates, and related documentation by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, standardize project execution, incorporate lessons learned, clarify ownership and timelines, strengthen reporting and tracking mechanisms, and ensure resources remain current, accurate, and scalable to support consistent implementation outcomes across care centers.

  • Electronic Health Record experience required, athena preferred
  • Experience working across Microsoft Office 365 platform (Outlook, Power Point, Excel) and across other systems as needed. Strong track record of learning technology-based tools and ability to learn/use Think Cell and related tools/technology
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills and the ability to serve as a Unified advocate
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
