Job Description

McCormick Taylor is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Transportation Engineering to join our Harrisburg, PA office. The primary duties of the Senior PM are to serve in a technical role as a Project Manager on the engineering development of urban and rural highway/bridge projects. Experience should include preliminary and final design of urban and rural highway design, intersection design, interstate/interchange design, and transportation planning.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, including scopes of work, budgets, client coordination, and coordinate with multiple disciplines within the design team
  • Develop Scope of work and price proposals
  • Marketing current and potential clients
  • Lead development of Statement of Interest Letters


Job Requirements

  • 15+ plus years of experience in the design and management of highway/roadway, civil engineering and transportation projects for PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike
  • Should have established marketing connections
  • PE preferred
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent discipline
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Works well in a team environment
