The Boldt Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Southern California team. This leadership role is responsible for the successful delivery of complex construction projects across key markets including healthcare, higher education, commercial, and advanced manufacturing. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary leader for project planning and execution, overseeing all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, budget, risk management, and client satisfaction from preconstruction through commissioning. Working closely with owners, design partners, trade partners, and internal operations teams, this individual plays a critical role in strengthening Boldt's presence throughout the Southern California market.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading large-scale construction projects while fostering high-performing teams and strong client relationships. This individual will guide project teams through procurement, contract administration, cost forecasting, production planning, and overall project execution while implementing Lean construction principles and the Boldt Production System. Beyond project delivery, the Senior Project Manager will mentor and develop team members, contribute to operational excellence initiatives, and help drive continued growth throughout Southern California. What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field, MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of AEC or professional services business development experience with strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships, drive strategy, and influence stakeholders through strong presentation and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on outcomes, continuous improvement, and leading change within a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience developing business in healthcare or other highly regulated markets.
  • Established network of architects, engineers, and industry partners in Southern California.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulatory environments such as HCAI.
  • Experience leading proposals, interviews, and using CRM tools for pipeline tracking.

Compensation
Target Hiring Range: $180,000.00-$243,000.00 (rounded) annually
Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $180,000.00-$243,000.00 (rounded) annually; however, compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and business considerations. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
Candidates whose experience or expertise substantially exceed the requirements of the role are encouraged to apply, as compensation may be reviewed based on individual qualifications.
