RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides strategic oversight on multiple projects simultaneously
- Leads project teams through critical project decisions and issue resolution
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with owners, architects, developers and key trade partners
- Actively participates in project pursuit strategy, client interviews, proposal development and project acquisition efforts
- Ownership and management of key client relationships
- Supports and collaborates with the Superintendent on all aspects of project
- Leads staff meetings, monthly reviews, design review meetings, task force meetings
- Manages contract administration
- Effectively, identifies, manages and mitigates project and company risk
- Reviews, negotiates, and manages trade partner and material contracts
- Monitors team's performance and manages responsibilities accordingly
- Leads construction services that satisfy client through on-time delivery of quality project within budget
- Participates in preconstruction efforts as needed
- Leads effective pre-planning efforts to ensure all aspects of project are addressed prior to mobilization and throughout construction process
- Manages all financial aspects of the project
- Partners with Superintendent to establish key project milestones through effective schedule management, and appropriately manages schedule impacts and recovery
- Ensures full implementation of company safety and QA/QC programs
- Ensure closeout process is completed in a timely manner per company standards
- Proactively and independently manages issues, disputes and claims to ensure timely and fair resolution
- Mentors and trains direct reports and manages employee development
- Travels to jobsites, meetings and client locations as needed in support of employees, clients, project team, etc.
- Leads management of project team dynamic and manages personnel issues as needed
- Participates in business and industry associations and opportunities
- Fosters a positive reputation in the industry by building relationships and identifies project opportunities aligned with strategic plans, and goals
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management or related field required
EXPERIENCE Minimum 12 years of commercial construction experience
Experience running single projects of $60M+ or simultaneously running multiple projects over $25M+
TECHNICAL SKILLS - Proficient in project management software, PROCORE preferred
- Proficient in Bluebeam
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in plan and specification reading

- All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time.

SALARY AND BENEFITSThe salary range for this position is
$139,000 - $175,000annually and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.

CompensationOur compensation package includes a competitive salary, participation in our employee stock ownership program (ESOP) on your first day of hire, and eligibility in our annual bonus program. Annual ESOP contributions and bonuses are dependent on company performance and are not guaranteed from year to year. Both ESOP and bonuses are calculated on one's eligible compensation for the year.
