Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Minerals & Metals team in Henderson, NV.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mining studies and project development phases, serving as the primary point of accountability for scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk management, and client engagement. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound, commercially aligned outcomes that support client investment decisions and project advancement.

Your role
  • Lead multidisciplinary study teams through Conceptual, PEA, PFS, FS, FEED, and execution readiness phases.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, study work plans, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Act as the primary interface with the client, establishing trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on objectives, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate engineering, geology, mining, tailings, water, environmental, infrastructure, and project controls disciplines to achieve integrated study outcomes.
  • Manage project scope, identify changes, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Provide leadership on risk identification, mitigation strategies, value improvement opportunities, and trade-off studies.
  • Monitor project performance against budget, schedule, and quality objectives, implementing recovery plans when required.
  • Lead study reviews, decision gates, workshops, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, laboratories, and specialist advisors.
  • Support proposal development, business development activities, and pursuit strategy for future opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, safety expectations, and quality management systems.
  • Develop schedules in Primavera P6 for all stages of the project.
  • Lead in developing and maintaining the project schedule(s) with collaboration from project managers/construction managers and inputs from engineering, procurement, subcontractors & client.
  • Provide technical support to ensure that the project schedule is maintained to client's satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports for operations team and management regarding project scheduling activities.
  • Correlate schedules, cost and risk assessments through integrated solutions to influence critical path analysis thus providing robust/quality plans for decision making.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action due to delays in certain aspects of the project.
  • Work with client staff and sub-contractors to develop and status schedules for their project components.


About you
  • 15-25+ years of mining, metals, or major capital project experience, including leadership of feasibility and project development studies.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary PFS, FS, FEED, and EPCM projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of mining project development, capital estimating, scheduling, risk management, and stage-gate processes.
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships, executive stakeholder engagement, and study governance.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed engineering and consulting teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, subcontract management, and change management.
  • Experience on large gold, copper, lithium, or other mining projects is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Mining, or a related technical discipline; advanced project management credentials are an advantage.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $130,700 - $150,700 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
